Product Description
This reagent set, when used in conjunction with a gel casting system, provides a convenient and efficient solution for electrophoresis gel preparation. Users simply insert aspiration tubes A, B, C, and D into their corresponding reagent bottles and follow the casting system’s programmed instructions to prepare Tris-HCl system gels.
Key Features & Benefits
Easy to Use
No calculations or manual mixing required. Simply select the desired gel concentration on the instrument to generate consistent, high-quality gels with a single click.
Pre-mixed with TEMED
The reagents are pre-formulated with TEMED, eliminating the need for manual addition during gel preparation and minimizing exposure to strong-smelling or hazardous chemicals.
Superior Separation Performance
When used with the gel casting instrument’s specialized algorithm, the system enables preparation of both uniform (constant percentage) gels and linear gradient gels.
Compared to uniform gels, gradient gels provide:

Compared to uniform gels, gradient gels provide:
- Smoother and clearer protein bands
- Sharper and more refined separation
- Wider separation range
- Higher resolution

Operating Procedure
Preparation of Solution C
Add one tube of Solution C powder into the designated Solution C bottle and dissolve completely.
Note: At lower ambient temperatures, dissolution may be slower. At approximately 15°C, it is recommended to use two tubes to ensure optimal performance.
Positioning Reagents
Place Solutions A, B, C, and D into their corresponding positions on the dispenser. Confirm that the liquid levels are sufficient before operation.
Connecting Aspiration Tubes
Insert the aspiration tubes into the corresponding reagent bottles as follows:
Red tube → Solution A
Green tube → Solution B
Yellow tube → Solution C
Blue tube → Solution D
Program Execution
Select and run the appropriate dispensing program. Verify that each reagent is being correctly pumped through its designated pipeline.
Important Notes
Correct Tube Matching
Ensure Solutions A, B, C, and D are connected to the correct color-coded aspiration tubes:
Red → A
Green → B
Yellow → C
Blue → D
Do Not Mix Reagents
Do not mix Solutions A, B, C, and D together, as this may cause premature polymerization or coagulation.
Monitor Liquid Levels
Regularly check reagent levels during operation. Refill promptly to prevent interruption or system errors.
Cleaning Maintenance
The cleaning solution bottle should be cleaned regularly. It is recommended to perform cleaning at least once every three months.
System Maintenance During Inactivity
Avoid prolonged storage of Solutions A, B, C, and D in the system.
If the equipment will not be used for more than one week:
Remove Solutions A, B, C, and D
Place the lines in purified water
Perform a full system cleaning cycle to maintain performance and prevent blockages
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
